A father in Ohio who made his 10-year-old daughter walk five miles to school as punishment for bullying another student on the bus has stirred up controversy among parents online.

Matt Cox of Swanton, Ohio shared video of him inside his vehicle trailing behind his 10-year-old daughter... the reason? She was walking to school in the frigid temps because she had been kicked off the bus for the second time after bullying another student.

Matt told his viewers that he wouldn't be driving her to school, and that she would have to face the consequences of her actions. She would have to walk the five miles to her school during her three-day suspension in 36-degree weather as punishment.

He has some additional commentary throughout the video. I am 100% on board with this! He's trailing her the whole time, so she isn't in any danger.

It seems she has learned her lesson, in an update posted to Facebook, Matt says; "UPDATE: lesson learned! Still has all her extremities intact is happy and healthy and seems to have a new outlook on bullying as well as a new appreciation for some of the simple things in life she used to take for granted #HOLDOURKIDSACOUNTABLE #STOPBULLYING"
