I don't necessarily want to accuse TOM BRADY of cheating again, but, hey, if the cleat fits…

Story goes, back in April, Tom's supplement and merchandise company, ‘TB12’ got about $960,000 in pandemic relief from the federal government's Paycheck Protection Program, AKA The “PPP”.

That’s the program the Federal government set up to help small business. Tom's supplement company used the PPP funds. They were $45 immune boosters which in theory is supposed to keep the ‘Rona away.

So it raised a few eyebrows last week, when Tom bought himself a new, multimillion-dollar yacht.

Tom is currently playing under a two-year, $50 million deal with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Struggling, he is not.

Now, to be fair, Tom is not the only rich person who took that money when they could have EASILY covered business expenses out of their own pocket and left it for the little guys who ACTUALLY needed it. Actually, the LA Lakers took about Five Million in PPP funds. When the public found out about it, the Lakers returned the funds.

I am hoping that there is a good business reason why Tom took the funds. But he's a guy people always have an eye on, so he becomes the poster boy for a very ugly problem.  And buying a boat just a few months after crawling up to Uncle Sam with his hand out just makes it that much uglier.

The real question is, would Seattle Seahawks Quarterback Russell Wilson do such a thing? I can’t see that ever happening.

All My Best,
