
Cheese from Walmart is the Latest on the Product Recall List
With so many product recalls happening, it's hard to keep up sometimes.
The latest product recall is several varieties of a cheese that you'd find at Walmart so if you do your shopping at Walmart, pay attention.
The FDA has a voluntary recall on Great Lakes Cheese company cheeses that is sold at Walmart in Washington State and several other states including Oregon, Idaho, and California.

Look out for several from Walmart's Great Value brand cheeses as the product recall states it may be contaminated with metal fragments.
The recall covers more than 250,000 cases of cheese with it mostly being the low moisture mozzarella shredded cheese.

As of now, there are no injuries or illness from this, but FDA is still labeling this as a Class II recall which puts it in a position where it could cause health risks.
These same cheeses on this recall list were also sold at Aldi stores, but Washington doesn't have any Aldi locations so we don't need to worry about that
