West Valley Youth Rummage Sale Happening Saturday, March 25

The best way to kick off spring is a good ol' fashioned rummage sale and nobody does it better in the Yakima Valley than West Valley Youth at the West Valley Church on 72nd and Nob Hill.

These are always a great turn out and this year they have a great cause, too. Proceeds from this event are helping our West Valley Youth at this church. Teens are earning money for a life-changing conference in Tampa, Florida this July. You can help out by attending and buying everything.

Well, maybe not everything, but anything you need at this event. I've gone several times and found clothes, furniture, electronics, books, toys, video games, music, sports equipment, home decor, art, and so much more. You know, the type of stuff you want to find in a rummage sale.

This is an indoor event. Though we're not expecting rain or anything it's nice to know that when doors open at 7 a.m. you're not out in the cold shivering trying to look at glassware trying not to drop it.

Thier recent Facebook post has a sneak preview of them setting up. I see a few items in the background that you're sure to get for a great deal. And, again, you'll be helping out the kids there with your purchases.

I hope you get a chance to make it as these are really fun events. Even if you don't buy anything it's fun just to browse but there's a good chance you'll find something you can't live without.

Using data from the Bureau of Labor Statistics (released in April 2020), we analyzed the average price for a gallon of unleaded regular gasoline from 1976 to 2020 along with the Consumer Price Index (CPI) for unleaded regular gasoline from 1937 to 1976, including the absolute and inflation-adjusted prices for each year.
