Would You Buy Your Kid a Bulletproof Backpack?

Apparently sales of bulletproof backpacks are on the rise. It's said that the recent shootings in El Paso, Texas, and Dayton, Ohio, are the cause of the increase in sales.

Office Depot is one retailer carrying bulletproof backpacks ... but they aren't cheap! They cost $174.99 each. But can you put a price on your child's safety?

Personally, I would never buy one of these. I pray safety on my kiddos each and every day. I think it's unnecessary to have fear of "what COULD happen," You can't live your life in fear.

Not only that, if you are going to buy one, your kid will need to have it on him/her at all times for it to be effective.
