Many people knew Doug Bettarel as the owner of Bettarel Auto Sales in Yakima. Others simply knew him as a good friend named Doug who took care of veterans and cared about a place called Yakima, Washington.

MAYBE YOU ONLY HEARD HIM TALK ABOUT OTHERS NOT HIS CARS

For many years Bettarel was a advertiser on KIT Radio and so many heard his voice each week. Most of the time he wouldn’t sell cars but would rather use his time to say thank you to someone or an organization or highlight the struggles of friends and fellow veterans.
But on September 19 Doug Bettarel passed away and now it’s a time for the community to say thank you and farewell.

STOP AT THE DEALERSHIP AND SIGN THE BANNER

The manager at Bettarel Auto Sales at 914 South 1st Street invites you to the dealership to sign a large banner in Doug’s honor. The banner will be taken to the funeral home for his service later this week.
