With Christmas almost here there's one guest I've always had every year.

That's on if we're going to have a White Christmas or not.

It doesn't make a huge difference one way or another. In fact, I may prefer it anymore as if we did it'd mean I'd have to drive in the snow to where ever our Christmas journeys would take us.

Looking into the future with the Yakima weather forecast, though we're expecting snow between now and the big day, it's not looking very likely that we'll have a White Christmas. Sorry.

We may get some snow on the 12th and 13th but aside from that we're looking at temperatures in the upper 30s to lower 40s for the next couple of weeks.

Friday December 20th may see a bit of rain as well. This isn't too good for anyone traveling that Friday to get to family or if you have family coming into town that day to stay the week through Christmas or something like that. Again, not too bad.

It's been a lot worse in the past. That's for sure.

Not to say we won't have frost on the grass Christmas morning, but that doesn't really count for a traditional White Christmas.

White Christmas or not, here's wishing you the very best this holiday season.
