Your Kids and Big Machinery Having Fun Next Month
Dozer Day, where kids drive is coming up next month in Yakima. The event where kids who love big machinery can get behind the wheel is planned for March 26 and 27 at Yakima State Fair Park in the grandstand area.
Kids get the drive big tractors and even first responder vehicles
Dozer Day is sponsored by Central Washington Homebuilders Association. They say your kids will have a chance to drive all kinds of machinery like real heavy construction equipment, fire engines even an ambulance. The association says the focus is in educating kids about building sustainable communities, industry opportunities, and public safety. Tickets go on sale soon for $12.00. The cost will be $15.00 at the door. You can find information at dozerday.org.

The day won't happen without the many volunteers that make it happen. You can become a sponsor or volunteer or both.
Volunteers must be at least 14 years old and are needed to:
Assist with Check-in,
Ticket-taking, etc.
Setup and Takedown of Decor
Operate Equipment (experienced, professional operators only)
Flagging for Slow-Moving Traffic
