Zac Brown Tour Roars Into Tacoma — and 92.9 Has Your Tickets

Ready to roar with the Zac Brown Band? Then get tuned in to the Morning Bull Pen this week. We're giving away tickets for this summer's Roar With the Lions Tour every morning this week (Tuesday through Friday) at 7:10 a.m.

The tour, presented by Polaris, pulls into the Tacoma Dome on Oct. 17, but you could win your tickets and be all set -- even before they go on sale Friday! Meantime, check here for more details on the tour.

This can't-miss-it tour hits the road May 24 in New Hampshire, right after the band wraps up the The Owl Tour. The Tacoma stop is just before the tour closes out with a show in Vancouver, British Columbia.

So why lions?

“Our summer tour is inspired by the folklore surrounding the figure of the lion. I am a Leo, and all of the guys in the band are lions,” Zac Brown explained in a recent interview. “They exemplify strength, courage, intelligence, and loyalty, and work in tandem to defend their territory and one another. The crowd is our pride – rooted in togetherness and fiercely loyal. They always show up for each other, no matter what, just like our fans always show up for us. We can’t wait to hear you roar with us!”
