What are you missing out on at Watershed 2015 this weekend? Besides the extreme heat you'll be missing out on some of the best country music on the planet as 20,000-plus party people jam the Gorge Amphitheatre to hear headliners Carrie Underwood, Dierks Bentley and Florida Georgia Line.

Yep, starting Friday (July 31), it's three days of camping, new friends and the scenery of the Gorge. It all adds up to a weekend you won't soon forget.

If you are a first-time shedder, there are a few things you need to know before heading to Watershed. Make sure you come prepared by checking our Watershed survival kit.

And expect a ton of new features at this year's festival along with the standards. There is a HUGE inflatable slide that is a blast to cool off on, there are carnival rides, a "Next from Nashville Stage" (which is filled with awesome production) and some of the hottest acts in country music.

We'll have plenty of radio fun, too -- you can win backstage passes and other swag, including fans to help keep cool. The main stage, of course, will have one hell of a lineup.

The festival, now in its fourth year, was the brainchild of one of Nashville's top award-winning promoters, Brian O'Connell. He's president of Live Nation Country and he likes to personally handle his Twitter and Facebook posts.

If you don't think he's a big deal, then you are mistaken -- he is listed as No. 3 among Billboard's Top 50 power players in Nashville. He's friends with many of the top acts in country music and even has his own tour bus. The best part is he's a down-to-earth fan of country music and that's why I think Watershed has been so successful.

This year's lineup is incredible and we can't wait to hang with you! Hit us up on Facebook and get ready for a party this weekend. You never know -- Rik, Michele and Cefus just might show up at your campground with the "good stuff."

If you still have questions, then click here to visit the FAQ for Watershed. One of my favorite questions is "Can I Bring Marijuana in?" The answer is NO, but the festival gives a little more explanation than that.

It's not like everyone abides by the rules, though, and it can be extremely annoying when you are trying to enjoy whoever is on stage and some nearby shedder is stinking up the area. It's official: leave the marijuana at home ... or just bring brownies, because I don't have to smell that.
