Galentine's Day was first brought to the mainstream by Leslie Knope on the beloved hit TV show, Parks & Rec. Leslie is corny and overly mushy, but she wanted to celebrate a day of love and recognition to all the girlfriends in her life. What a sweet thought and gesture.
