5 Shocking Things You’re GUARANTEED To See At WATERSHED
The wait is almost over. Watershed 2021 is happening Friday, Saturday, and Sunday at the spectacular Gorge at George, Washington.
Like so many things we missed out on last year as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, LIVE Music performances were among the most missed events of 2020. Watershed 2020 had to be canceled and the only thing that kept music fan's hopes up was the promise of Watershed 2021 and the incredible lineup for the three-day festival.
5 Shocking Things You're Guaranteed To See At WATERSHED
If you've been to Watershed before, you know as well as we do that you may find yourself in sensory overload. I mean, we're talking three days of almost always awesome weather, camping with family, friends, and total strangers, LIVE musical performances, perhaps a beer or two, and party, party, party!
1. LIVE PERFORMANCE FROM SOME OF THE WORLD'S BIGGEST COUNTRY STARS
If you haven't attended before, you might be exhausted from cheering and screaming for your favorite country stars. With a lineup like Tim McGraw, Dierks Bentley, Thomas Rhett, Kelsea Ballerini, Billy Currington, Job Pardi, Randy Houser, Russell Dickerson, Ashley McBryde, Gabby Barrett, Hardy, Lindsey Ell, Morgan Evans, Blanco Brown, and Ned LeDoux, you'll know you've been to a live performance. That's just the main stage.
2. LIVE PERFORMANCE ON THE 'NEXT FROM NASHVILLE' STAGE - UP-AND-COMERS
Some of the stars on the main stage got their starts here. The Next From Nashville stage is featuring some young, hot, country acts that you might have heard of or soon will be. Callista Clark, Payson Smith, Shy Carter, Priscilla Block, Ross Ellis, Jackson Dean, Kylie Morgan, Laine Hardy, Alex Hall, Temecula Road, Brittney Spencer, Alana Springsteen, Tiera, and Reyna Roberts. You'll be shocked at the level of talent.
3. Mass Quantities of Beer, Whiskey, Wine, Beer, and More Beer Will Be Consumed.
There's something about the atmosphere that fits hand-in-glove with knocking back a few cold ones. It's going to be hot, first of all, with 100-degree temperatures forecast for all three days. Add to that the fun you'll have with all of your family and friends and the fact that country music has a long-standing relationship (for better or worse) with beer, whiskey, and adult beverages in general. Be responsible and remember to hydrate.
4. Plenty of Shocking Clothing Will Be Worn and Stared At All Weekend.
Sure, there will be a sea of cowboy hats and snapbacks as you look around during the live performances. Headwear is probably a good idea to keep cooler and reduce sunburn. But, more than the utilitarian side of things, many are going to be making a fashion statement with their hats, and many of those folks have a story to tell. Again, with hot weather, and beer, and a festive atmosphere, don't be too shocked if you see concert revelers wearing less than they came in wearing.
5. Picturesque Natural Beauty at The Gorge
Not referring to the previous points about how much or little clothing partiers may be wearing, you'll be blown away by what you're seeing, especially if you haven't been before. The absolutely breathtaking beauty of the natural surroundings of the GORGE Amphitheatre, carved along a hillside and overlooking the Columbia River, makes for a venue that keeps both fans and musical performers coming back for more. Take lots of pictures!
