Best Mexican Restaurant in WA
Mexican food is one of those foods I'll never get bored with.
When it comes time to choose a restaurant, maybe we're all going out to eat, I'll never decline a Mexican restaurant.
Even the ones that are more Americanized to fit the needs of many are still great. I'll eat anywhere.
To me, though, the more authentic, the better.
Lovefood released a list of the best Mexican restaurants in the United States and one of them made the list in Washington State.
Where is the best Mexican restaurant in Washington State
According to Love Food, that place belongs to Mezcaleria Oaxaca in Seattle.
Seattle?! Why does it have to be Seattle?
I'm here to say, I've had Mexican food all over Washington State and, I'm gonna say the quite part out loud, the best Mexican food is found in the Yakima Valley. And it's not even close.
It's in no offense to those in Seattle and the food is fantastic, but give me what we have here any day.
I'm sure this place is great. Admittedly I've never been as when I'm in Seattle I'm trying other foods that we don't have here in Yakima when I can, but it does look great.
Here's what lovefood.com says about Mezcaleria Oaxaca.
The Dominguez family opened this popular spot in Capitol Hill in 2014, and it's been going strong ever since. As you might expect, the menu focuses on the delicious cuisine of Oaxaca, a city and region famed for its spicy dishes and rich, complex mole sauce. Customer favorites at Mezcaleria Oaxaca include the mole negro, the tlayuda (a sort of Mexican-style pizza with a tortilla base), and the cabrito (stewed goat leg).
Maybe I'll check it out someday. It does look legit.
