It would be nice to think we are all invincible, when were kids this is totally the thought. Even as teenagers we tend to take on this crazy attitude that somehow makes us think we also know everything! Then as adults, we realize that life is a wild ride and you never know what's going to happen.

Some people have their songs played by the Seattle Seahawks and others find out their blood carries rare cancerous cells. Both have taken place in our small town recently and thankfully there's something you can do about it!

Local Mike Molina has been diagnosed with a rare blood cancer called MDS and will need to receive a bone marrow transplant, something that is not cheap but could save his life so, would you be interested in helping?

Friends, family, and the community are being asked to gather together for a spaghetti feed this Friday, December 3rd, 2021 at Holy Family Catholic Church, located at 5315 Tieton Drive Yakima, WA 98908 between 4 pm - 7 pm. You can sit down or take away a plate of food for $10. Your feast for an incredible person cause will include; spaghetti with meatballs, Olive Garden breadsticks, Corn, Garden Salad, drinks, and cookies! Obviously, you can donate more but it's the thought that counts, and at the very least, would you be so kind to share this with as many people as you can?

Stacker used data from the 2020 County Health Rankings to rank every state's average life expectancy from lowest to highest. The 2020 County Health Rankings values were calculated using mortality counts from the 2016-2018 National Center for Health Statistics. The U.S. Census 2019 American Community Survey and America's Health Rankings Senior Report 2019 data were also used to provide demographics on the senior population of each state and the state's rank on senior health care, respectively.

To find out more about how has the price of gas changed throughout the years, Stacker ran the numbers on the cost of a gallon of gasoline for each of the last 84 years. Using data from the Bureau of Labor Statistics (released in April 2020), we analyzed the average price for a gallon of unleaded regular gasoline from 1976 to 2020 along with the Consumer Price Index (CPI) for unleaded regular gasoline from 1937 to 1976, including the absolute and inflation-adjusted prices for each year.
