Cold Weather Forces Us to Use the Fireplace

This weekend has brought in some insanely cold weather that we really are not used to for the end of September. Temperatures are expected to dip into the 20s overnight and the highs this weekend will be lucky to see anything over 50 degrees. Can you say BRRRRR? The passes are all expecting snow over the weekend as well -- in fact as of this morning both Stevens Pass and Blewett Pass already have snow.

Now I don't know about you, but I am the kind of person who loves the cold weather -- but I do not like to be cold. I love fall and winter because I get to curl up with a cozy blanket and watch a good movie. However, I did not expect to be doing that in September. This morning my house was so cold that we actually turned on our fireplace to heat up the living room!
