Country Music Hall Of Fame Receives $35,000 Grant

Hey did you know that learning music makes you smarter!!

The Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum recently received a $35,000 grant from the National Endowment For The Arts. The museum has announced plans to expand its acclaimed Words & Music program.

The Museum worked closely with Metro Nashville Public School officials to select the schools that will participate in the program. They chose 74 elementary schools, focusing on fourth grade classes. During the 2010-11 school year, 37 schools will participate in the Words & Music Outreach program.
