When someone says London, what's the first thing you think of? Probably the royal guards and Big Ben and tower bridge and maybe the London Eye.

One image that probably get conjured into your mind are those classic double-decker busses.

How fun would that be? A bus with stairs so you can see more of the town as you're driving through? That'd be great fun.

Though I've been to London twice and saw plenty of double-decker busses, I still have yet to ride in one, but that itch can be scratched soon as double-decker busses are coming to Washington State.

Spokane Transit announced that double-decker busses are coming to town.

And they plan on being available sooner than I would think.

As in, right now.

Spokane Transit said they have two now and five more arriving in a couple of months in February.

These busses are sure to turn some heads when you see them coming down the street. At 13"6 holding upto 108 riders, it'll be just to be part of the experience.

These double-decker busses in Spokane are also fully ADA-accessible along with space for two wheelchairs.

If you've ever considered booking a flight to the UK just to ride these busses, now you won't have to. You can just plan a trip to Spokane and see where the bus takes you.

My old 'visiting a new town' philosophy is if you see a bus, follow it. It's bound to be going to somewhere popular enough to require bus stops.

There's not much more to find out but stay up to date with Spokane Transit on their website.
