Living in Washington we get to enjoy a lot on the daily, the sights, the sounds, the food you name it. But by also being from Washington there's a lot of things we don't try out even if it's something we've always wanted to do.

So I'm making a bucket list of things to do around Washington before 2022 comes to an end. If you don't know what a bucket list is, it's a list of things you wanna do before you kick the bucket. So let's dive right into it!

5.) Go to the top of the Space Needle

I can't tell you the amount of times I've been to Seattle, I can't even give you an exact number on the amount of time I've been to the Space Needle, however, I've never been inside or gone to the top. The Space Needle is a defining site for Washington, not only the Seattle skyline but it's also one of the most associated things with Washington. Living here I can count on one hand of people I know who were born and raised in Washington who have never gone up. So why not take that trip to the top and mark it off your bucket list once and for all, I know I will!

4.) Visit The grave of Bruce Lee

That's right one of the worlds most renowned martial artists and actors not only lived in Washington but was also buried in Seattle at Lake View Cemetery. You can visit his and his son Brandon Lee's final resting place.

3.) Go on a Ferry Ride

Washington has the largest Ferry system in the entire country, with multiple ferry's all running at once and traveling all around the Puget Sound. You can hop on a ferry in Seattle and go check out the coast and the city of Bremerton. The Ferry routes are absolutely captivating and beautiful to look at as you pass by. Even better they serve food and drinks aboard the Ferry so you can indulge in an Ice Cold Beer while you travel.

2.) Walk the Glass Bridge in Tacoma

Tacoma usually get's a bad rap, wether people are talking about the Tacoma aroma or the violence it can seem a little intimidating to visit. However if you're from the area you know Tacoma's nightlife is a fun trip all in it's own, but it also has a lot more to offer. Not only is it home to the largest Car museum in the country, it also has a glass bridge made entirely out of original artwork from Dale Chihuly. The bridge is 500 feet long and always open to the public.

1.) Staying in Leavenworth

The Bavarian town located in Leavenworth Washington is visited by thousands of people all over the country. Maybe you've even taken a trip there or two, but have you stayed in the quiet little town? There's so much to do with plenty of choices of dining, entertainment, and shops. You'll feel welcome from the moment you arrive to the time you leave. Living in Washington we take a lot for granted so why not go out on a limb and try something new?
