Good News In 2020: Chick-Fil-A in Eastern Washington Opening Soon!

Chick-Fil-A has a slogan, 'We didn't invent the chicken, just the Chicken Sandwich'. While that is not necessarily true, many would argue that anything that existed before the Chick-Fil-A Chicken Sandwich was simply an imposter. Yes, they are delicious!

We've polled readers time and time again about what restaurant chains they'd most like to see in Yakima and overwhelmingly, Chick-Fil-A is among the top responses we get. Let's face it, they have an extremely successful business model, they're marketing experts and they have a darn delicious product.

So, we promised to keep you up-to-date on the arrival of Chick-Fil-A in Yakima or even somewhere in Eastern Washington that might be within driving distance to enjoy one of those tender and juicy signature sandwiches. Here's what we know as of today from Albert C. - a Chick-Fil-A representative, who answered my latest inquiry with:

We are always evaluating potential new locations in the hopes of serving new customers great food with remarkable service.

But, alas, Yakima, it was revealed, is not on the planning list just yet. However, there IS a location that is just days away from opening in Eastern Washington, albeit, about as far away and still be in Washington as you can get - North Spokane & Route 2, 9304 N Newport Hwy, Spokane, which is slated to open on December 1st!

Now that's only a 167-mile jaunt from Yakima. So, maybe a nice Sunday drive opportunity. The Seattle Seahawks have the weekend off, why don't you?
