I do like The Pub and have written about them a few times in the past. Almost every time I'm there I order the same thing, the Cubano (Cuban Sandwich). Sometimes I'll grab the fish and chips, but mainly the Cubano. This time around I figured I'd try something new to me from their menu. I wasn't quite sure what. That is, until the words Carne Asada Steak Wrap jumped off the menu and gave me a flatbread backhand.

As listed on the menu:

Carne Adasa Steak Wrap
Marinated carne asada steak with shredded pepper jack, cilantro lime slaw, pico de gallo and avocado in a flatbread wrap.

I mean, you can't really go wrong with that. Though I'm an excessively picky eater, I decided this time around I'd just get it as-is. Under most situations I probably would have got it without pico and anything with the 'slaw' but at that point it's just meat and cheese. I can make that at home and, in my quest of going out to eat, I never want to order anything I can simply make at home.

I'm glad I ordered this and I'm glad I ordered it without changes.

It also came with fries and I do love the fries at The Pub.

When you think of pub food, you might think burgers and wings, which they have here, too, but why not try the Carne Asada Steak Wrap. It may just be your new favorite thing.

LOOK: Best Beers From Every State

To find the best beer in each state and Washington D.C., Stacker analyzed January 2020 data from BeerAdvocate, a website that gathers user scores for beer in real-time. BeerAdvocate makes its determinations by compiling consumer ratings for all 50 states and Washington D.C. and applying a weighted rank to each. The weighted rank pulls the beer toward the list's average based on the number of ratings it has and aims to allow lesser-known beers to increase in rank. Only beers with at least 10 rankings to be considered; we took it a step further to only include beers with at least 100 user rankings in our gallery. Keep reading to find out what the best beer is in each of the 50 states and Washington D.C.
