Legends Casino Hotel Donates Money For Communities

More than $378,000. That's how much money Legends Casino Hotel gave to Central Washington communities on Tuesday in the form of community grants  The casino hotel funded grants totaling $378, 988 giving help to 69 non profit organizations through  the  Yakama Cares program. The money will impact communities in Yakima, Benton, Kittitas, and Klickitat counties.
A news release says grants ranged from $1,500 to $25,000. "Grants  include  replacement  of  wildland  firefighting  equipment  for  the  City  of  Yakima  Fire Department,  PTSD  service  dog  training  for  Service  Peace  Warriors, and  hospice/end  of  life  support  for Heartlinks, Chaplaincy Healthcare, and Cottage in the Meadow."
