After being adopted out of Vietnam at 3 months of age, Lyndsey Gough has accomplished a lot, and this morning she can now say she's the reigning Miss Selah.

Performing ballet as her talent, the articulate high school senior will now spend the year representing her community at parades and events as Miss Selah. Cassandra Copeland, Marron Sarett, and Hannah Lee will accompany Queen Lyndsey as princesses in the royal court.

Several other awards were given out, too. Lyndsey was voted most talented. And Miss Congeniality, as voted on by the contestants, was Marron Sarett -- who also received Most Photogenic.

The Selah Community Days celebration is the third weekend in May.
