The other night we drove through the Miner's drive-thru just for milkshakes as we happen to be in the area when I was glossing over their gigantic menu. Looking at items like the Big Miner Double, Nachos, huge selection of salads and seafood, and, of course, their varieties of drinks and fountain desserts.

That's when it donned on me...

...I've probably only had a 'count-on-one-hand' amount of things here at Miner's.

Every time I go, I just get a Big Miner with cheese, fries and a shake of some sort. Often marshmallow but sometimes I'll opt for butterscotch or something else.

In my high school days I'd get a double, but that's too much for me anymore.

I think there was one time I ordered the chicken strip basket but looking at the menu I see items like buffalo chicken sub. That has to be amazing. There's a classic BLT and prime rib dip, I bet I'd love those.

I've never ordered anything from the BBQ side like the BBQ chicken, I'm sure, is fantastic. But, again, I wouldn't know because I keep ordering the same thing every time.

A menu like this is meant to be explored.

By all means you don't have to join me, but I'm going to try ordering some of these other things on the menu next time I'm there. I've gotta try the Atlantic Salmon Fillet basket and the chili dog and even the shrimp louie in the salads some day.
