
Frozen Tamales From Primavera Nueva Recalled Over Listeria Concerns
The tamales may be not what they seem.
There was a product recall issued for frozen tamales that has been revised recently.
This tamale product recall has been recalled recently due to a health risk.
Now the product recall goes on to say it could contain roasted pumpkin and white cheddar which was a seasonal item.

The FDA has issued a product recall on Primavera Nueva frozen tamales.
The specific ones are the 4-count tamales that were originally under a product recall due to potential contamination with listeria which could be very dangerous. Especially to children, senior citizens, and those with low immune systems.
Thought this recall happened late last year, there are new tamales from this distributor that could now be affected as well that weren't originally listed in the original recall list.

The roasted pumpkin and white cheddar variety was a season item that one may have picked up back in October of 2025.

If you happen to have any of those in your freezer, toss them or return them for a refund.
Listeria is no joke as it could cause a high fever, headaches, nausea, and could even cause miscarriages if you're pregnant.
So far no illness has been reported from this recall. This recall, so far, has only been isolated to California and Nevada but letting you know just in case.
