How to Protect Your Car From Break-ins

Yakima police have investigated 15 car prowls already this year, so they're urging you to protect yourself and your vehicle. I have a few quick tips for you to protect your car from theft:

1. Stash before your park not after, if you wait to hide valuable until after you park someone could see that you are hiding valuables and may break into your vehicle.
2. Lock your doors.
3. Keep your car clean. If you don' t have a clutter of items in your car, there is nothing to steal!
