What does it take to be a snobby city?

Although I feel Washington State is a bit more on a passive-aggressive side, especially on the west side of the state, you gotta find those cities who think they're better than anyone else.

The cities where one may move for status and clout and less 'because it's close to work' reasons.

The type of towns where they may shop locally and roll their eyes at anyone who happens to be visiting their town as they may view others as less-than.

Well, these may not necesarily be the case for these 10 snobby towns in Washington State, but sites like roadsnacks.net can look at prices of homes, nightlife, and more to determine the snobbiest towns in Washington State.

What is the snobbiest town in Washington State?

The number one snobbiest town in Washington goes to Mercer Island.

You know Mercer Island. If you've driven to Seattle you've driven through it. Not a very big chunk of land, just enough to connect the first tunnel and floating bridge when you're driving to Seattle.

The average price of a home is just over $2 million, in case you're curious.

Yeah, if I had a home there, I'd probably be a snob, too.

With extremely low poverty and extremely low unemployment makes Mercer Island a snobs paradise.

Other cities that made the list?

2. Sammamish
3. Redmond
4. Bainbridge Island
5. Bellevue
6. Newcastle
7. Snoqualmie
8. Issaquah
9. Lake Forest Park
10. Woodinville

Do I need to point out the obvious?

All of these towns are on the west side of Washington.

On the polar opposite, the most laid-back town is Union Gap.
