Some of the Best Asian Noodles in Yakima Don’t Even Come from an Asian Restaurant
I found myself at a local restaurant for breakfast but after looking at all the menu options, and deciding what I was going to order for myself (which didn't take long as soon as I saw they had a strawberries and cream Belgium Waffle on the menu) I noticed something that I didn't expect to see. On the lunch menu, along with the cheeseburgers, sandwiches and salads I saw yakisoba. Well, though I already made up my mind, I had to at least try it and thus I did and I'm glad I did.
This place is Sweet Beez Restaurant on 6th and Fruitvale and they are wonderful. They're only open for breakfast and lunch but serve anything on the breakfast and lunch menu the entire time they're open starting at 6 a.m.
I was thinking I was smart going at an odd time between breakfast and lunch but everyone else thought that, too. This is quite the happening place, but that didn't stop us from getting a table immediately and getting our food almost just as fast. This place is quick!
I ordered the strawberries and cream Belgium Waffle. It tastes even better than it looks.
My wife ordered French Toast. You can never go wrong with French Toast.
My kid got the gigantic pancakes. They asked if they wanted two or three. They opted for 2 and they're glad they did. 3 would have been too much but if you love pancakes, these are the ones to try.
Though I ordered the yakisoba as well, I knew I'd be getting it to go. I still had a few bites and it was wonderful!
This, by itself, could feed a family of 4. It's huge!
To be honest, some places have yakisoba which has a specific flavor. These aren't those. Although by name's sake, yakisoba is literally just fried noodles which these are. This is the type of yakisoba that I bet your grandma would love who isn't as adventurous with Asian food.
And, best thing about getting these to go, dinner is already ready for me when I get home!
