This $23 Sushi Monstrosity is so Insane It Found Its Way to Yakima

There is never a time I'm not in the mood for sushi. I can't explain it. Something about the perfect bite-sized pieces that I can just pop in my mouth without having the need to cut anything works for me. The quickest way to get food from the plate to my face is always best. And it sushi just looks cool. It's definitely an art form.

I was looking over the sushi menu and saw this giant beast of a sushi roll called the King Dragon. Not a dragon roll, which is always welcome, but King Dragon. It's a more significant sushi roll with eel on it. It looked fun to me so I figured I'd order one. Little did I know exactly how huge this beast would be.

Our jaw dropped when we saw this placed on our table at Kobe Sushi and Teriyaki.

We didn't realize that it wasn't just strips of eel on top of this mega-roll, it was the entire eel sliced on top, or so it appeared.

Good thing I love eel!

Well, the only way to know for sure what this has in store is to try a bite.

It's considered rude to eat sushi by biting into it. You're supposed to place the entire deal into your mouth and chew discreetly. Me? I did neither. Trust me, I tried, but I couldn't fit the entire roll into my mouth and, in the process, it fell apart in my hands spilling into the table and partially onto my lap.

If anyone else at this restaurant saw me do this, it probably resembled the scene from Beauty and the Beast trying to eat porridge with a spoon for the first time.

This King Dragon roll was amazing. Definitely fun to order and I'm glad I did.
