Walmart’s Earth Day Extravaganza is April 21-22

The West Valley Walmart is having an Earth Day Extravaganza and GC Kick-Off this Saturday and Sunday (April 21-22) from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Chow down on barbecue for Children's Miracle Network while wandering some of the booths from Yakima Valley Farm Workers Clinic, Comprehensive Health, Planned Parenthood, People For People, NW Learning and Achievement, Inspire Development and the Yakima County Health District. On-site HIV/STI testing and blood pressure checks will be available from the Walmart pharmacy.

Get your hands dirty in the kids/adult potting and decorating potted plants. Enjoy games in the "kid corner" as well as face painting and the kids casting competition.

The Walmart Earth Day Extravaganza and GC Kick-Off is cosponsored by Franz, Coke, Kellogg's, Bonnie and Scotts.
