Washington Ranks in Top 10 For ‘Most Fun States’

Growing up in Washington State, many may be jealous of places like California or Texas. States that have amusement parks with roller coasters and rides and all that.

Yes, Washington does have Enchanted Village in Federal Way which now more focuses on the waterpark side of it, but still, not exactly the same.

How cool would it have been if Washington State had a Six-Flags or something?

As it turns out, Washington is still a pretty rad state as it ranked in the top 10 fun states in the United States.

Washington State ranked 7th place of all states in the United States.

This was found by ranking entertainment and recreation as a whole as well as how well the nightlife scene is.

Washington also ranked better than average in several categories.

Washington State ranks 5th for movie theaters per capita.
Washington State ranks 8th for performing-arts theaters per capita.
Washington State ranks 11th for restaurants per capita.
Washington State ranks 12th for fitness centers per capita.
Washington State ranks 12th for casinos per capita.
19th for access to national parks.

First place belongs to California, followed by Florida and Nevada.

The least fun state is West Virginia, followed by Mississippi.

I'll also add Mississippi does rank #1 for most fun state to spell, if that counts for anything. (it doesn't)
