Identity theft is so prevalent. You hear about cases of fraud more and more in recent years. Every month there's a new alert about a new scam going around that's easy to take your credit card info, your social security number, and anything else for people to pretend to be you for their own advantage.

Financial website Wallet Hub ranked every state and found that Washington State is doing pretty well when it comes to identity theft.

It could be better but it could definitely be a lot worse.
