Washington Residents Warned “Do Not Travel” To These Locations
I love to travel.
Flying out of Yakima is always a great option as it'll take you straight to Seattle so you can connect to anywhere beyond that.
Even flying out of Tri-Cities is wonderful as it provides more options for flights, depending on where you're flying to.
There is a non-stop list of places where you would like to go. Places like Mexico or the United Kingdom or Japan.
But what about what places to avoid?
There are some places you are advised not to visit any time for any reason.
Many of the places may be the type of places you wouldn't quite want to visit in the first place, but some may sound like it could be fun until you realize it's probably not a good idea to visit those places.
The U. S. Department of State - Bureau of Consular Affairs has 19 places ranked as a Level 4 travel advisory as being high risk to visit.
Certainly you've heard of stories like this. Someone visiting and they break the law based on local laws, not laws in the United States. In fact, some actions may be perfectly legal here in the United States but if you break the law there, you be arrested and land in their court system.
And I'm here to tell you, the United States is one of few places where our law system deems you 'innocent until proven guilty'. Something to keep in mind.
Next time you're planning an epic trip, avoid these places.
