Have you caught Lottery Fever? Remember a few weeks ago, a winning Washington State Lottery Ticket worth an estimated $2.7 Million was sold to someone in Sunnyside? It could happen, even though odds are against it, and it could be you if you buy a ticket.

Tonight (Friday), the Mega Millions Jackpot is going to be worth an estimated $430 Million. The one-time payout option would make it a cool $291.1 Million to the winner or winners and that would be plenty to make a serious dent in most everyone's outstanding bills and bucket lists!

Is there a strategy that you employ when you purchase tickets? Do you play the same numbers each time? Perhaps, are you inspired by birthdates, anniversaries, lucky numbers, or some other method? On the rare occasions when I remember to purchase tickets, I keep it simple and let the Lottery Ticket Vending Machine do the work. So far, no big payouts, but, you can't win if you don't buy 'em.

Today, while waiting for my tire to be repaired at an area tire shop, I strolled down the street to a nearby convenience store and noticed the sign in the window revealing the current jackpot amounts for the various games. So, I went inside, bought a few MEGA MILLION tickets, a few LOTTO tickets, and a few HIT 5 tickets. All varying amounts in the respective jackpots and all with significantly different odds of winning.

I don't expect to win anything, but if I did, I'd be more than willing to take some time and decide upon just how I'd spend the money. How would you spend the winnings? How do you compare with other Washingtonians?
