These Cute Japanese Crane Machines are Finally in Yakima

Crane Machines have always been popular since they were introduced in the United States.

For a nominal fee, you can try your luck to control a claw, hovering over stuffed animals or other trinkets for the claw to grab the item for you to win.

They can be very fun and even a little addiction know you can do better next time.

They're fun in the United States, but it seems like they're next level in Japan.

UFO Catchers

Though probably not called that anymore, I remember there was a time when the claw machines in Japan were called, or known as, UFO Catchers. It may have been a specific brand of crane machine, but they also love crane machines in Japan.

They have some fun ones in Japan and in the US at places like Round 1 in Seattle where they have several set up. It's nice because those, instead of it being a variety of items you can win, each one has its own style of toy for you to win.

Sometimes the same item but just different colors, but they're usually pretty close to the same so you can just keep trying your luck with the one you wish to get.

I didn't think I'd ever see these types in Yakima, but here we are with photo evidence to prove it.

You can find these at Rosauers supermarket in the front lobby area.

I didn't see these until I was leaving the store. So happy to see these here in Yakima.
