Yes, we've had days in the 100s already and are slated to have more as we typically do in August.

We've been sitting with temperatures in the 90s this past week and was curious to see what the weather was slated to be into the upcoming week.

Knowing the weather in advance helps plans those outdoor activities or travel, even if it's just out of town nearby.

I was looking at the weather to see what types of days we'll have in the future and was pleasently surprised to find that, not only will we have a day with a high only in the upper 70s, but are expected to have some rain as well.

Any time we can get rain during the summer in Yakima is always a welcome event.

The temperature will drop down to the 80s over the weekend.

It's Monday, however.

Monday, July 21st they're expecting Yakima to have a high only in the upper 70s with, at this time of typing this, a 25% chance of rain.

That's a chance I'm willing to hope.

Even if there's no physical raindrops, even if it gets to that feeling like it might rain.

That's wonderful pre-rain air that just feels more crisp and breathable.

This is short-lived, however, as the very next day it's back into the 80s and, the following day, into the 90s.

Then the temperature should stay in the 90s for about a week or so.

We should hit 100 degrees again at the end of the month.

Just a slight reprieve from the recently hot-spells we've been having.
