With just 11 days left in the decade, Mother Nature waited until the last minute to record the wettest day in Seattle on record in the 2010s.

Nearly seven inches of rain have fallen since Thursday (Dec. 19) afternoon. The deluge caused widespread floods in urban areas on the west side of the state. KOMO News is reporting that, up to now, 2019 was the fourth driest year ever recorded and posted this stunning video of Snoqualmie Falls.

The
Bellevue Police Department posted pics on their Twitter page warning motorist to not attempt to drive in certain flood-riddled areas.
