Couples Court #111915 -- Teacher Girlfriend vs. New Boyfriend in the case of the complicated parent/teacher relationship.

Here's our case:

I am a teacher at a local junior high. Several months ago, I broke my cardinal rule and began secretly dating a parent of one of my students. My boyfriend is perfect. Unfortunately, his son is failing. If I flunk him, I'm worried I will lose my boyfriend. If I don't flunk him, I will be questioned by my boss. The boy refuses help but his Father has promised that his son will get his act together but he just needs more time. If I give his son more time I feel like he would be getting special treatment. Am I right to fail him or should I trust my boyfriend with more time to get his son back on track.
