Is It Weird To Get Someone A Gift When You Meet Them For The Very First Time?

We had a listener call in with a great question ... she is not sure if she should get a little gift for the guy she is meeting for the first time?

I have been married soooo long that I really don't have an answer? Cefus said to get a Starbucks gift card to give to the guy and say, "this is for our next date." That sounded a little cheesy to me?

My thought is it's a little to early for gifts. Guys like a chase or a hunt.

What do you think? Should she get a gift for a guy she has never met before? Is that weird?
