Normally, when you tell people you're from Yakima, Washington, they have no clue what you're talking about. So when I introduce myself to country artists, I don't expect them to know our small town. Plus, they bounce around from town to town to town to town and I'm sure all the those towns start to blend together.

Over the weekend I was fortunate enough to meet Old Dominion, who are on tour with Kenny Chesney.

I introduced myself to band members and said, "I'm Michele Mathews. I work at a radio station in a town called Yakima."

As I shook hands and made my way down the line, OD bassist Geoff Sprung piped up as he pointed to his T-shirt: "I know where Yakima is!"

His T-shirt had a picture of an RV with writing underneath that said, "Western RV. Yakima, WA"

My friend Kristina asked, "Do you really know where Yakima is or did you just get that T-shirt at some vintage shop?"

He replied with, "Yes, Yakima is 30 minutes from Ellensburg."

The guys from OD are going to be in Walla Walla on Sept. 2. I would love to find some vintage Yakima T-shirts and give them to the guys when they get there.

Where can I find vintage Yakima T-shirts?
