Some Original Songs Are Masterpieces — Don’t Redo Them

I picked up Sam Hunt's new album, "Montevallo," and Sam does a version of Keith Urban's "Cop Car."

I do like Sam's version, but it got me thinking about songs that should never be re-cut by another artist.

Here are some that I think should stand as originals:

Garth Brooks -- 'Friends In Low Places'
The Eagles -- 'Hotel California'
Journey -- 'Don't Stop Believing'
Sir Mix-A-Lot -- 'Baby Got Back'
George Jones -- 'He Stopped Loving Her Today'
