Walk a Mile in Her Shoes … No, Really

Townsquare Media

This Friday at noon, Rik and I are going to attempt to ‘Walk a Mile in Her Shoes.’ We are raising money and awareness in an effort to stop rape, sexual assault and gender violence. We as men need to take an active role and try to better understand some of the major issues that affect our society. I will also deliver a short speech on the importance of this matter.

Join us as we get out this Friday and have some fun trying to make our way through downtown in high heels. You can learn more or donate at walkamileinhershoes.org

When: Friday, April 11, noon–1:30 p.m.
Where: Millennium Plaza, East Yakima Avenue and Third Street, Yakima

Here is our theme song — by the one and only Kellie Pickler
