One of the beautiful things about Yakima is how the roads are mostly in grid formation.

Yakima has a lot of options when it comes from driving from one side of town to the other.

Especially during the summer, if one block is under construction you can usually turn down any road and take the next block over to get to where you need to go.

  • Another high-crash intersection in Yakima. Especially coming from just after the overpass if you're heading east.

  • North 16th Avenue & Lincoln Avenue
  • High on the list for accidents, coming in as the 3rd most accident-prone.

  • There are frequent collisions on this popular intersection near the northern edge of town.

  • South 40th Avenue & Nob Hill Boulevard
  • A lot can happen here, especially people on their way to one of the schools in this area.
