Are These Marriage Do’s … or Don’ts?

Everyone has their own opinions as to what is acceptable in a marriage and what isn't. For me personally, I don't see the issue with passing gas in front of your spouse. Think about it, when you were dating and trying to impress -- remember that tummy ache you used to get? And when you left after being together for hours how good it was to let it go? If you have chosen to be with someone forever you shouldn't have to suffer those grumbles! Luckily, I am not alone in this thinking -- in fact 84% of people think it's OK as well.

What about peeing with the door open? Again not something I see an issue with. I mean, normally in my house, that is. When I am using the restroom it's usually when Jordan gets his ideas that can't wait, and he has to tell me now or the world may end. I must not be the only person whose spouses or significant others can't pee alone, because 77% of us say it's OK to pee with the door open.

Now, those last two were pretty lighthearted and haha funny. But is it OK to flirt with others? If you ask me, I say no. Now, here is the other side to that: I am an extremely friendly person and sometimes people can take my friendly conversations for being flirtatious. I have to be extremely careful with how I interact with people so they don't get the wrong idea. But you might be shocked to find out that 24% of people say that it is OK to flirt with someone while you are married.

How about this one: Is it OK to fantasize about being married to another person? For me, I say Heck No Techno. I look at it this way: If you think the grass is greener on the other side, maybe you should try watering your own lawn. Now, now -- this is not the situation for everyone. Sometimes the grass really is greener. But if you are fantasizing about marriage with another person, I think a re-evaluation of things is in order. HOWEVER, 42% of people say it's OK. If you are a part of this group, I really need to hear what you have to say. No judgment -- I am just truly curious to hear it from the other side.
