I may be as bold as to say nobody in Yakima loves fried chicken more than I do.

We have a few places for fried chicken in Yakima that aren't bad, but when you venture to the south you'll find more and more southern cuisine places known for chicken.

Foodie website Love Food listed the best friend chicken places in each state and the one listed for Washington is one I have to check out for myself.

Where is the best fried chicken in Washington state?

According to Love Food, you'll find the best fried chicken at a place called Ma'ono Fried Chicken in Seattle.

I haven't had the chance to try it for myself, yet, but any place that puts the name 'fried chicken' in their restaurant name has to be something they pride themselves upon.

There are a few Ma'ono locations in Seattle so it's nice when you have options depending on where you are in Seattle. They have one in West Seattle, U-District, Capitol Hill, Belltown, and a location in Woodenville.

This chicken is a traditional brined and buttermilk-soaked chicken fried twice. You choose the spiciness including carolina reapers and ghost peppers.

If you like, you can even get it as a sandwich. You have some options here.

I do love fried chicken so I'll have to check them out next time I'm in the area. Seems like chicken with a Hawaiian flair so that's good news for me.

And, again, with multiple locations it means they're doing something right to open new locations.
