Charlie Farley, ‘Southern Summertime’ Music Video [Exclusive Premiere]

Charlie Farley's new music video for "Southern Summertime," a song that features Daniel Lee, is just the clip to make you long for summertime boating, beer and bikinis -- and The Boot readers get to see it first in this exclusive premiere.

"Southern Summertime" is the lead single from Farley's sophomore album, All I've Been Through, which dropped on Friday (April 8). The video was filmed at Georgia's Lake Lanier and in Arkansas -- but the Arkansas portion of the clip wasn't all fun and games: A tornado struck during filming, and Farley and the extras were stranded in his house without power for two days; plus, a second tornado just missed the house by a quarter mile! The Arkansas footage was intentionally made rougher to reflect a backwoods grittiness, and the bonfire scene was shot on Charlie’s hunting lease.

The "Southern Summertime" video includes cameos from Cody Davis, who is featured on Farley's new album, on the song “Concrete Dreams," as well as Farley's grandmother. Press play above to watch.

All I've Been Through showcases Farley's experiences throughout the two years since his freshman record, 2014's Hog Heaven.

“I’ve been through a lot in the past few years and really wanted to share my journey,” Farley states in a press release. “Musically, this album is a 'coming of age' project for me. I’m really excited to get new music out to my fans.”

All I've Been Through features 13 tracks, including a remix of "Southern Summertime" that features Colt Ford and Lee.
