Ready for a night of eventful, local competition for a good cause? Yakima's media outlets are facing off in Selah to carve out hunger -- come witness this once-a-year event! Sounds exciting right?

We are coming together to raise money for Northwest Harvest by carving pumpkins in an effort to supply meals to families in need! We will have 45 minutes to craft a work of art out of a pumpkin, and those present at the event will have the opportunity to vote for who they think should win carving bragging rights for the year! You can also enjoy some sips from local breweries and bits from caterers!

Doors open at 6 p.m., at the Selah Civic Center, 216 S. First St. Carving starts at 7:15.
