Committee Members Needed for Planned Homeless Shelter

City officials are looking for volunteers to serve on a new committee that can help evaluate a proposed homeless shelter. The shelter would be behind the old Kmart, where the Pirate Plunder used to take place.

The shelter won't be completed for a couple of years, but meantime the city needs seven people to start the committee.
