
Salad Dressing Sold in Costco Being Recalled in Washington State
Product recalls come in all shapes and sizes and in all products from all businesses.
There's a new recall happening from a popular salad dressing at a very popular chain of stores that includes several in Washington State and right here in Yakima.

The FDA is reporting 3,556 cases of products from distributor Ventura Foods that have black plastic planting materials have been found in granulated onion ingredients.

The Caesar salad dressing that would be used at the Costco Food Court could be affected by this.
If you find yourself at the Costco Food Court and Costco Service Deli and order the Caesars salad or a chicken sandwich that would also have the Caesar dressing, this could have been involved.
Other dressings that could have been included would be the creamy Caesar, Italian and creamy poblano avocado ranch.
Venture Foods sends their products to several distributors. The store, Publix, could also be affected. However, Washington State doesn't have a Publix.

Hidden Valley has also confirmed that a food-service item was impacted, but none of their in-store products would have been affected so no worries there if you bought anything from Hidden Valley recently.

Several states are on the impacted list for this FDA including Washington State but also includes Oregon.
