Do Parents Have Enough Alone Time? I Bet You Get Less Time Than You Think
As parents, we have all had that feeling of "I just need one minute" or "Can I please go to the bathroom without an audience?" I have two kids (7 & 18 months), and although I don't remember the last time I did anything at home alone, I wouldn't trade tripping over my kids for the world. In fact, it wasn't until I read a new survey that I realized just how little time I actually get to myself.
The survey says that the average parent gets 32 minutes of alone time a day. The article put out by Fox News goes on to say "32 percent of parents don’t actually stop 'working' until at least 8 p.m., when parenting duties have been factored in."
Fortunately for our children, we parents we look past these facts and we continue to love them. Is there anything you wish you could still do alone?
