Summertime in Yakima can be difficult at times due to the extreme dry heat, but if you drink enough water to stay hydrated and you make it through the workday, you might want to enjoy a tasty beverage. Here are a few that I've picked up over the years.

Cefus's summer drink recipes:

Lavender Gin and Tonic

Glass of ice with a slice of lime squeezed over it before you pour

1 oz Lavender Gin

10 oz of Tonic Water

Bakon Bloody Mary

Glass of ice with a lime squeezed over it

1 oz of Bakon Vodka

10 oz of Campbell's Tomato Juice

A squirt or 2 of Demerti's Bloody Mary Mix

Garnish with a Slice of Bacon and Pickled Bean

Cucumber Bloody Mary

Glass of ice with a slice of lime squeezed over it before you pour

1 oz of Skinny Girl Cucumber Vodka

10 oz of Campbell's Tomato Juice

A squirt or 2 of Demerti's Bloody Mary Mix

Vodka Soda with Extra Muddled Lime

1 glass of ice with 4 slices of lime, then muddle to oblivion
